Team Balancing

Dice needs to balance the teams better. I’m always put on a team of low ranking players, like rank 90 and below, against higher ranked players 200’s, 300’s, 400’s. And we get **bleep** stomped on so unfairly. My K/D has been gradually declining more and more everyday for the last month. And my match won/lost ratio is also **bleep** insanely uneven. The game is becoming extremely irritating and I’m about ready to just delete it. Balance the teams more evenly.

I find the way the match is going very much affects my K/D. Sure, I’m a bit of a crap player, but the pace and types of encounters changes distinctly when winning versus when losing.

If we’re losing, theres a time pressure: you have to move towards objs at a certain clip and take risks if you want to have a chance to turn things around. It’s easier to be caught by campers, snipers. You have to spend time on objs that are too often very open, while the enemy can take their time hovering on the edges shooting in. its obviously completely reversed if we’re winning.

i don’t really care about my K/D, but I do know I will easily go above 1 in a winning match, and an abysmal 0.5 if in a rout.

Of course, all that is going to be much less true if a player does not care a fig about playing the obj…

  • They're over-prioritizing how fast they can put people in a match and matchmaking is suffering as a result.

Player level doesn't mean anything either.  Well, sorry, it means a bit, but I'm 222 and kind of garbage, but I've seen level 17 smurf trash go 60/2 infantry.  Due to the gameplay nature, it's hard to determine skill by kills, and due to the points system, it's also hard to tell if a person is good just because they got 50k score rezzing people in the line of fire so they just die again so the points farmer can rez them again and just repeat that cycle.

I would happily wait longer for a match if it meant the next 20 or so minutes was actually fun and not just a couple of dudes on the top of the scoreboard going 80/7 and ruining the match for half the players of the game.

You can still be on a losing team and not have your k/d decline. Sounds like you're one of the fodder and not really swaying the match.

This is okay, though. It means you can improve and then you'll be a bigger impact on the outcome of the match.
