Team mate knows I'm down before me

Hi all, 

So twice now my mate has told me on in-game voice chat I'm down/dead as he can't spawn on me before it's even happened on my screen.

Yesterday was the worse with a few second delay. It went like this

Me: spawn on me mate

Him: arrghh to late your down

Me: no I'm not

Then I see some one and they instantly kills me. It seems a lag issue but the game runs perfectly smooth.

Think I prefer it in the old days were if you had lag it was noticeable.

I've seen other people complaining about "death packets" and it seems the same issue to me
