Terrible update

This update is terrible, who has ever complained about jets?!!! fix the base game ffs! jesus. Whoever thought that a BF game should have this crazy fast TTK and TTD needs firing. Long time players have been saying for so long that all we want is a BF3 BF4 type game. Its not rocket science! But no, we get this frantic, frustrating garbage that's not worthy of the BF name imo. So many bugs! and the worst netcode in years that is still not fixed at all. wtf! The glory days are over by the looks. No good leadership and the old devs have all left. Rant over

  • TTK/TTD is fine. It's maybe not how it used to be in previous titles.

    It's mainly hit registration and netcode thats the problem.

    I agree if they gave us a straight up copy from Bf4 with some updated graphics the community would be satisfied. Yet they have to reinvent the wheel again and make something completely from scratch.

    TTK and TTD is directly related to netcode seeming better or worse. You can't say that TTK and TTD are fine, ignore it, and fix the netcode. They are directly related. The faster you are able to be killed, the more likely you are to meet someone who sees you on their network before you see them on your network and kill you before your networks synchronize enough to both have an interraction. There is no such thing as perfect netcode. There is no such thing as zero lag and zero latency. There will always be some slip one way or another. TTK and TTD can help a lot, if you stretch it out long enough that both parties are able to engage in an interraction and are both able to react. Stretch it out and give better damage modifiers for parts of body hit, and you fix a lot of the perceived problem. It starts feeling like an interraction was won or lost for a reason, not just random.

    And, for God's sake, start enforcing a ping limit! Hmm, I wonder how we could improve netcode a lot.

    But, yeah, they REALLY need to fix the bullets being lost on the way to the server.

    TTK is not fast.  This is a BS thing going around from youtubers who don't even hardly play with guns or the game for that matter.  You know TTK is not fast because players are running around like chickens with their heads cut off.   If TTK was very low as people say...then how is it possible that there is a hardcore more that lowers that value by a significant amount and STILLL has a healthy group of people playing it?

    When players walk into a doorway 3 months into the game with a LMG firing through it, because they think they can live through it....then how is TTK too fast?    In low health games, people crawl and sneak around

    TTK isn't bad, it's the netcode that makes it feel horrid.  You can't even start to think about if TTK needs fixing when you can die before an enemy ever shoots you on your screen.  

    I thought this issue was sorted out years ago because even in BF4 on launch when the servers felt like hot garbage, everyone still felt like they were on the same playing field.  Now, some people have a clear advantage and those of us with a good PC and internet are getting shafted.

    Crossplay option and ping enforcement would help.
