Looks like the devs put the bots in GOD MODE!!

I noticed it too. But I guess you got to give the bots some kind of advantage... I mean... they*re bots

Bots are at your rank level, even though it shows them with a low level.  

Oh man, all the time! They'll hip fire you from 150m and not miss a shot! Even better, they'll ignore the 15 bots between you and them, and only target you. I've literally seen a group of bots from both teams standing together, just doing nothing. When the enemy bots see me they start shooting, and my bots just stand there watching the show!

I think they have different skill levels though. Some bots are just dumb and slow, but I've had bots slide around corners hip firing me. Like woah, that was a bot!?

Yes, still the same. "BattlefieldBehavior" is the default bot behavior and they will shoot at you from any distance as long as a ray passes from them to you without obstruction and you are in their cone of sight.

Custom servers allow you to modify their behavior to make them not target enemies further than X distance, but there is a bug with AI in vehicles which causes them to stop taking commands, so it isn't something you can really implement if you want bots to also be able to use vehicles.

It would be nice if the developer modified  BattlefieldBehavior bots to use a distance limit by default.

I agree -- that seem to have an 'aimbot' : Mind -- they automatically focused on you way back in BF2142 !!

they are based on your skill level even if there level is low. annoying. LOL
