The current XP progression rate is the disease. Farming is just the symptom

Battlefield 2042's progression was fine and that game had issues too.

While I get that people want to get some basic weapons without grinding for hours and Battlefield Studios should make sure that those weapons are easily accessible. That said, if the game has a few really hard challenges for cosmetics at the larger stages of the progression tree then people really shouldn't complain. Challenges are there because they should provide a challenge. Not every piece of content has to be easily completable.
