The Main Tank is Terrible

Barely a few weeks on and we're seeing people abandon vehicles in the spawn. Helicopters, tanks, jets, just chillin in the spawn because they generally suck. Laser designators from one end of the map to the other make most aircraft useless. Vehicles as well; nothing like getting into a vehicle in your spawn and immediately hearing the laser designator tone from a soflam on a mountain across the planet. 

The most egregious failure however, has to be the main battle tank. Mainly stemming from its awful main gun. They need to buff the ammo types. The antipersonnel rounds from the tank do literally nothing - it's like shooting a handful of ping pong balls out of the main gun. The HE rounds are as explosive as a moldy peach - unless you physically dome a dude with them, they have zero splash damage of any kind. Infantry grenades are exponentially more dangerous. The grenade launcher weapon station on the tank is criminal; its like lobbing tennis balls at people - zero splash damage.

The most successful tank play is currently the most cancerous - tank sniping - where smooth brains park the tanks on mountains or in the spawn and try and counter snipe wookies. Tanks are meant to support infantry taking points, but they are currently so weak they cant fulfill their main role, instead getting relegated to being parked in spawn as **bleep**ty artillery pieces.

The IFV is by far the best vehicle in the game at actually fulfilling its role: supporting infantry pushes. Its main gun has real splash, the AT rockets are a solid defense against heavy armor or aircraft, and the gunner station provides decent coverage from attacking infantry.
