I don't think removing bots is the answer - they can be fun for those that want an easier experience and tbh they make the experience of seeding a verified portal server a little less boring. That being said I don't think people should be farming bots for XP
Progression needs to be fixed so people don't need to grind to get through insane XP/challenge requirements for unlocks. But people also need to temper expectations for how quick things will be unlocked. You don't "need" every weapon/attachment/skin unlocked to be good, you need practice.
Bots should have 0 impact on stats too, I hate when a server half fills up with bots, I literally just leave now if that happens.
People don't want to practice and improve anymore, they want everybody else to be dragged down to them.
Instant gratification is a terrible thing, why the rush?
I still want unlocks to chase in a years time, these people will unlock everything, get bored and stop playing and run to the next game to consume.
I have still got unlocks in bf3 that I never got and thats fine.
Idk, I 100% unlocked and trophy completed battlefield 4 then proceeded to play another 1000 hours since then
huh you can practice with bots you can also learn the map also. To find those routes and avenues to take on map's w/bots. It is great that you want to chase the unlocks in a years' time but why are trying to force others to play the way you play? PPl were told that they can play the way they want and the last time I checked they pay money just like you. I'm not try to be rude but come on.
Play how you want doesn't mean the entire progression system should be tailored to anyone, the devs can't make one that will please everyone.
They lowered the xp needed to unlock stuff, they compromised on what they had.

Why does it matter what people do. Let them farm and move on. Isn't that the point of making new games. EA should make the experience fun for all or most. If they are happy with this game they will buy the next game. They had such a great launch. Now, it seems they will over think it and mess it up with changes. Really EA just needs to make sure everyone can host their own server. Even today I cannot host my own server.
Sorry that, but with around one hour a day/a few on weekend, i dont have the time to "git gud".
Also i was hosting bot games when my mates werent online, so whats the matter?
I still would need months to grind half the attachments/challenges, specially because for some of them you need a real match.
But let me play like I want, or did I said something like: Your playstyle is wrong?
Dont advertise a game with "play it your way" and then take "the your war" away..
Also when I was playing bots lobbys, I am still going to when 7 bots look at me and firing in my direction.^^
The problem about these xp-farm servers are scripts like: direkt redeploy/1% health bots, etc.... and not bot server where everything was standard.
