You've just completely screwed over a large portion of the player base just now by turning off weapon and attachment XP in portal servers.
I don't have time to play this game all day every day. I will never be able to be on par with other players without being able to unlock attachments and weapons faster. It takes incredibly long in a normal match for casual folks like me to unlock stuff.
I am a legitimate player who plays breakthrough and conquest matches against bots. I am too old and this game is sometimes too fast for me. I just want to relax after work and kill some bots with my friends, or by myself.
Now, i can't. I'm out until this is changed. This was the last straw for me. EA just completely screwed a lot of us over.
I to am OUT! Even tried getting a refund as I was pissed beyond belief after learning they did this.
I'm older (58), waaaay slower than I was 20 yrs go when I was playing BF2... have disabilities and I'm lucky if in a normal round, I can get on average 3 - 8 kills. FFS... you know how long it would take me at that rate to unlock all the attachments for a single **bleep** weapon?!?!?!?! Now multiply that by 45!!
I enjoyed playing against bots on maps made through the Portal website, which there is NO WAY to even create some stupid crazy bot farming. The SDK tools are the problem! Yet they screw us all over instead of using their brains to come up with a compromise.
I guess I'll be buying BO7 after all, which I swore I was done with that series, but at least I can get Full Progression playing Zombies.
