As the title already says, the changes to XP for bot kills should be reverted or adjusted
Why? Quite simple: the game was marketed and sold with the clear intention that normal progression would be possible in the verified Portal mode.
The changes to XP from bot kills contradict this statement and the related product descriptions.
I don’t have enough time to unlock all the attachments in PvP to stay competitive — the same goes for the challenges. Thru my limited time, I already gotin laser beamed thru weapons with full attachments.
Therefore, this description of the product was one of the main reasons I decided to buy the game.
Are XP farm servers with weird custom scripts a problem?
Yes, they definitely are.
But normal experiences without any special scripts or other nonsense are completely acceptable. Therefor change the xp from 10 to 50 (as a compromise) or reverd them.
We already got the problem that we cant host a portal server because of the limited hosting slots.. which negativ impact is already enough.
Players like me, also purchased your game (under your marketing premise) so dont threat us like customers of the titanic third class. Why you asking? Becaus we are going to spend money also on battle passes and co.. but some will not if you den reverd your xp nerf and if you dont come up with more portal slots.
A lot of people forget that the original way that battlefield servers worked back with the original release was to have bots until players joined. BF1942, BFV, BF2. ETC. A different era, but to me the bots kept the spirit of the game alive. Even in some mmo's pvp match's killing a guard gives you some xp. Its a solid concept. Let everyone have their fun and earn xp. Unless your going to bring back the BF4 badge system then the issue is just poor planning on the needed capacity based on the player bases vast level skill, hardware, network. A solution could have been to only allow passworded games on local host portal games only to reduce server load. More work on the back end to make sure everyone is on the up and up yes but a small price to pay to avoid the pitch forks coming from a decent amount of the player base. But hey this is just this old boomer's take. Ill just go back to Dune until this blow's over. Normal games have way to many issues currently for me. Ill come back with my friends and whoever wants to join for some classic conquest.
