You've just completely screwed over a large portion of the player base just now by turning off weapon and attachment XP in portal servers.
I don't have time to play this game all day every day. I will never be able to be on par with other players without being able to unlock attachments and weapons faster. It takes incredibly long in a normal match for casual folks like me to unlock stuff.
I am a legitimate player who plays breakthrough and conquest matches against bots. I am too old and this game is sometimes too fast for me. I just want to relax after work and kill some bots with my friends, or by myself.
Now, i can't. I'm out until this is changed. This was the last straw for me. EA just completely screwed a lot of us over.
73 yrs old, love battlefield, always have, not the pplayer I once was, but portal is great fun, I get why the rank xp nerf, but removing the weapon xp attachment grind is an idiotic move by Dice, they are about to lose thousands of players ..
100% agree. Since launch I have looked forward to firing up the game every day, till yesterday when I heard this news. Now I'm on Day 2 of no BF6 and no desire to play till this is reversed.
The problem is the SDK tools, because that is where all these crazy XP Farms were being made. So why couldn't they temp discontinue the SDK tools and keep just the Portal website builder maps Full Progression?
I swear some of these companies are run by people lacking brain power, cause it makes no sense to punish the entire Portal community when the vast majority of people like myself were playing normal and not playing or creating these SDK tool XP Farms.
I play portal 90% of the time, always normal, love being able to look for infantry only or other legit modes, these farming ones are dodgy anyway, and the dodgy players on the other team, hackers, can't kill them, they give themselves 2000 health, tried a couple, they are the once that should be shut down .. Made my first for myself and friends, all legit rules, 2 days ago, never tried before, well pleased with myself, now, Its pointless, so sad ..
