I agree fully. I only play PVP hardcore but i dont get any weapon mastery now and we know how long that takes. So i'd have to play for many many many hours in some "match making" playlist that i don't want to. Persistent servers are much more fun so you dont split up the lobby from your team mates and i just prefer hardcore.

EA/Battlefield studios you need to revert this so hardcore players can unlock weapon attachments. We still get xp and can do the impossible challenges but please.... OR let us play with all attachments unlocked then?
