Leave it the way it is...it's a friggen game and PvE players deserve to play it at full XP.
They made the mistake in 2042 of cutting us short of XP while playing in Portal (after release) and they lost a ton of PvE players and charge backs.
They messed up again by not making 2 separate profiles (1 for PvE and 1 for PvP). They'll never learn...but PvE players shouldnt have to pay the price again for their mistakes.
I agree. They should keep it. PvE is still some people's choice. I uninstalled the game last night. Tucking it away, till they bring back PvE. Wish I could get a refund. Literally trick ya it feels with that Initiation. Full time job.. missed my window. Anyway. Yeah. Arguing bout bot lobbies? No different then loading into every multiplayer match with Streamers racking 50-0. Then you can't even properly use the portal 90% of the time. Gonna go back to 2042 for a bit lol
Have you tried getting it refunded? Surely a blatant bait and switch should be considered. If they use a selling point to market the game and remove it after you've handed over the money I think that would be grounds for a refund.
Steam had declined 3 refund requests so far currently in an appeal waiting on another response from them after telling them about all of this
Ive tried with Steam 4 times writing back and forth...their only replies are to deny the refund and they are still using standard scripted responses about being beyond the 2 hour window thing. Totally unacceptable and out of our control since EA changed the game completely long after my 2 hour window...not my problem.
Steam simply will not stand behind and protect their customers and instead are aiding/abetting the corporate giant who is clearly more important to them.
You CAN be refunded:

EA Promised "The Server Browser will be front and center in BF6" - There is NONE.
--PORTAL WORTHLESS--
EA Promised, quote, "...weapons, and so much more. All with FULL PROGRESSION and XP GAIN".
There is NEITHER!
--SERVERS IMPOSSIBLE TO START--
With Bots, there's no Progression XP! So nobody joins the server.
Without Bots, it takes 32 players sitting around to start a server!! They can't even spawn in while waiting!
AKA: Portal Servers DO NOT get players.
--CUSTOM MAPS POINTLESS--
I've already spent towards 100 hours remaking prior title custom maps.
What for? CAN'T GET PLAYERS OR START SERVER
--EA LIED TO US--
They intentionally changed the settings a few weeks after to block peoples refunds, despite EVERYBODY telling EA that XP Farms would happen before release. They knew full well and even made unlocks awfully DIFFICULT and GRINDY.
Lying, scamming, cheating, backstabbing, thieving, deceiving, stealing, utter scum. Do NOT buy EA products.
Cherry on top: They did the exact same in 2042, and knew perfectly well what would happen. They destroyed the only good feature of the game immediately there too.
