New flash compensator availability?

With the introduction of the new flash compensator attachment i was really hoping to finally be able to (viably) hear the work the sound devs put into the game by removing my suppressors for this new attachments, and save some attachment points in the process.

But it seems like not all guns actually get access to the flash compensator? Me loving my belt fed LMGs im quite sad to see my beloved M240L not getting access to it. Alongside that a small list of other guns not getting access to the flash compensator has me questioning if the availability is currently working as intended or bugged? While some guns on that list already have a limited barrel attachment selection or are in a weapon category with limited attachments anyway, and can probably be explained that way, other (meta) guns get access to it no problem?
