So I just found out and verified that there are no bots allowed on verified portal experiences. The option to backfill is greyed out.
So what's the point of portal? Even MP has bots. No bots at ALL? How do you plan to fill your servers?
I thought we'd be able to unlock weapons and attachments vs bots. What happened to that? I'm old. I wear bifocals. I have arthritis. I have nerve damage. I bought this game thinking I could play vs bots like in 2042.
Instead, I have two choices: go into MP where I can't unlock anything because I get killed every 20 seconds by people sprinting and sliding and bunny-hopping all over the place like crazy and coming at me from literally every direction, or play portal for no xp, no unlocks, no rewards.
Dice, I'm disappointed.
My Dad just turned 70 and he got himself a new PC but he hasn't played games for many many years, bf6 portal was going to be the way for us to play in an easy environment for him to progress and learn but their decision now has buggered this plan.
I'd be surprised if they didn't change tact on this in the next month.
Their focus is probably on bugs and season 1 currently but this backlash can't be ignored by the Devs.
Just might take a little bit of time for them to figure out how they want to play their hand.
If they would focus bugs, the would have the drone deactivated, you cant play maps like Sobek, Kairo etc anymore thru the amount of exploiters.
