Another thing worth remembering: by launching the game, we accepted the terms and conditions — that long text nobody ever reads. And according to it, EA/DICE can do whatever they want with the game. They can remove, add, or change anything, and there’s nothing we can do about it.
But don’t worry! They’ll add bots to Portal. They’ll do it as soon as their player numbers start dropping, and then they’ll suddenly remember the casual players. It’ll be safe for them by then, because all those people crying that it’s “unfair” will already have everything unlocked :)

I think you will find that if something is advertised as being able to do something such as full XP & progression, and it IS that way at launch, but then the company removes it, then it is breaking the TOS and false / misleading advertising and or marketing.

I agree 100% their own EULA states they cannot remove an online feature without giving us 30 days notice. Bots are an 'Online' feature No?
