Crazy theory: They designed the game in a way that promoted and allowed bot farming. Then, they advertised that portal will have full xp and progression. Next, they wait until after most players are passed the refund period. Finally, they use the bot farms, which they wanted to happen in the first place, as an excuse to take away what they advertised. EA robbed us of our money with false advertisement. I will no longer buy Battlefield games.

You can still be refunded even though it's past the refund period. I am 3 months past, yet I still got my refund from Sony, because I had evidence of false advertising. Their refund policy isn't worth anything when they break consumer laws like this.

then just file a chargeback with your bank. If you show your bank that you tried contacting EA and EA didn't respond, the bank can force it. Or PayPal. I've done that method before too for a product that had a strict "absolutely no refunds" policy. It really isn't that hard
