The real problem with Crossplay!
The current state of the game with crossplay won't be resolved by allowing PC players to disable it because it is too late for that, the player base on PC has diminished to a level so low that you wouldn't find a lobby with actual players. Steam is currently showing only 20,000 players. Keep in mind that is including REDSEC, which probably accounts for more than 50%, as you can see other free to play FPS games have a larger player base than BF6. A realistic number at best, would only leave 10,000. Now take away the region worldwide, the existing number of active players in the US would decrease by an even larger number, lucky to be 5000 (which I highly doubt). Now take away all the different game modes, which splits the player base even more (knocking down too probably a 1000). Then you have matchmaking that puts you in the nearest server, whether east or west coast cutting that in half to 500. If you do a custom search for a particular map, it narrows it down to something smaller. You will not be able to find a full lobby with crossplay off. The real problem with the current state of this game is not really the aim assist, it is the desync issues! In order to win PC players back, they would need to fix this. Half of a PC players bullets do not register yet console players all hit. A PC player can't outgun a console 1v1. I personally am not good, but I play alongside of some of the best players in the game and many have thrown in the towel. Make the game fair!
