This was your Portal solution?
Swing and a Miss
A driver comes in for a pit, you change the tires but didn’t tighten the lugs on one wheel. Driver pulls out of the pit and crashes into the side wall as the wheel comes loose and he loses control.
You finally get the shuttle Challenger off the pad, thrusting higher, everyone is happy and clapping. So exciting. Then the shuttle blows up.
The lottery numbers are called out one by one and so far, the first five match. Excitement is overwhelming. The final number is called, you are off by one digit. Huge disappointment! You got something, but not the jackpot.
You have a 9 and a 6. In Blackjack you need 21 to win. Dealer is showing a 4 and a 6. You ask for a card and get a 5. Excitement builds, you have 20 and you hold. You go all in. Dealer gets a 4 then a 7, 21. You lose again!
EA….do you get the theme here? Probably not so let me spell it out for you. You Nuke the portal for everyone that enjoys BF, like from the very beginning of the game series, playing against the bots solo or with friends. We don’t play for a week or more. Then finally you heard the flaming, the screaming and hollering, yelling, complaining that you took away a part of the game, a promised part, that so many looked forward to and WHY we bought the game or even pre-ordered it in first place.
So you turned the bots back on. That brought a rise of hope and relief that many probably felt such as myself and my friend. I reconfigured and resubmitted my portal maps and we loaded up to FINALLY play.
BOOM! Our hopes came crashing down when the game would not start. Some jack hole thought that ONLY 12 bots would be just fine and thus requiring 8 humans to join before the game would even start. You screwed up again. What good will you “might” have gained was never realized but the loathing and outright hate for your company deepened. Your decision making is on par with putting screen doors on submarines.
EA/Dice should get a Darwin Award!
