To EA and DICE Development Team, smoe greetings,

Since I haven't received a reply to my email, I'm posting my suggestion here. I apologize if anything is inappropriate.

To EA and DICE Development Team,

Greetings,

Earlier this year, in mid-August, Battlefield 6 underwent two large-scale tests which received widespread and enthusiastic feedback from the community. I participated deeply in the beta test and found myself completely immersed. The class system, weapons, their unique characteristics, and that distinct Battlefield experience captivated me, reminding me exactly of what made the earlier titles so great. As a player who has experienced Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1, and Battlefield 2042, aside from some bugs that negatively impacted the experience, I was overall very satisfied with the beta and eagerly anticipated the official release.

On October 10th, Battlefield 6 officially launched, and I started playing immediately. Due to time constraints, I couldn't play much on the first day, but I engaged in intensive sessions on the second and third days, and have continued to play significantly since then. The official release largely maintained the beta experience, though some issues emerged, such as display bugs, ADS bugs, and missing weapon model bugs. With subsequent updates, the frequency of these issues has decreased considerably, and I remain hopeful for the game's future.

Now, with the first season underway, it has introduced new content but also brought a renewed focus on several persistent community concerns—many of which I have encountered and find problematic. I would like to outline these below:

1. Persistent Bugs and Lighting Issues: Certain bugs, like the slope launching glitch, radar locking issues, and RPG scoping problems, severely disrupt normal gameplay and need urgent fixes. While some lighting issues have been addressed, severe over-exposure persists in specific areas like Objective D on Liberation Peak and Objective B on Firestorm.

2. Unreasonable or Outdated Challenge Design: Since launch, players have provided feedback regarding challenge tasks that are either poorly designed or don't align with modern gaming pacing. The official response has been that adjustments will be made gradually in future updates. This response is unsatisfactory to the community. I understand the intention might be to encourage long-term engagement and maintain player retention, but in today's fast-paced environment, some of these tasks fail to achieve that goal and instead foster frustration and resentment. I urge quicker action on these adjustments, even if implemented partially at first.

3. Portal Mode Issues: Primarily Concerning AI and Weekly Mission Progression: Recent changes have completely disabled the use of AI in non-official Portal servers and prevented progression towards weekly missions or weapon XP in those environments. I understand the desire to curb farming, malicious XP grinding affecting blueprint sales, and rapid Battlepass completion which could impact game economy. However, this change is too heavy-handed. While limiting XP gains is reasonable, completely prohibiting it and blocking weekly mission progress only generates player anger and disappointment. I suggest adopting a system similar to Battlefield 2042: implement an XP cap for Portal modes but still allow some progression, and do not block weekly mission completion. This method has proven effective. Such an approach would not harm sales; rather, it would attract more players. Like the challenge tasks mentioned before, finding the right balance—setting achievable goals within a reasonable "grind" threshold—is key to maintaining healthy daily active users.

4. High Battlepass Mission Difficulty, Lackluster Content, and Quality Concerns: As an owner of the Phantom Edition, I find it unreasonable that Battlepass missions can be re-rolled multiple times even with the highest edition unlocked. Battlepass and weekly missions shouldn't be extreme challenges; they should be reasonably achievable within the time limits for most players. Furthermore, the content offered in the Season 1 Battlepass and Store is underwhelming. The design seems stuck in a "tactical" rut, and even within that style, few skins or blueprints stand out as visually appealing. I recommend breaking free from rigid design conventions. Skins that aren't extreme departures from the Battlefield atmosphere (like overt Christmas themes) could be explored. Ultimately, player engagement and purchases are the true test of skin quality. I acknowledge that player tastes vary widely, but this shouldn't excuse the currently perceived low quality of Store offerings. I hope future updates bring higher-quality cosmetic items. Additionally, I don't believe the "Blueprint" system suits Battlefield well. Blueprints seem primarily a method to sell bundled attachments and skins—a design not seen in previous titles and one that feels unsuitable for long-term health. I recommend decoupling attachments from visual skins, reducing attachment unlock difficulty, and increasing weapon XP gains. If skin quality is high enough, players will naturally purchase them. I sincerely hope for significantly improved Store and Battlepass content in future seasons.

Please believe me, I have a genuine love for this game and a sincere desire to see it improve. Having played BF4, BF1, and BF2042, I have considerable experience with the franchise. I'm not a top-tier player, but I derive great joy from playing Battlefield. My personal circumstances are difficult; My life feels chaotic, and my job is stressful. Battlefield is one of the few things that brings me happiness. Therefore, I wholeheartedly wish for Battlefield 6 to succeed and evolve into the best game it can be.

Wishing you success and all the best.
