Too Many Game Modes and Community Servers Are Killing the Player Base

Title: Too Many Game Modes and Community Servers Are Killing the Player Base

Hello Battlefield team,

I’ve been a Battlefield fan for many years. I studied and lived in Europe for a long time, and I saw how Battlefield servers there never died because players have understood the game for years and the main focus was always on the Conquest mode.

Right now, one of the biggest mistakes EA is still repeating is having too many modes and server options. We have Conquest, Attack & Defend, Hardcore modes, Community servers, and more — and because of that, the player base gets split into many small groups. As a result, servers feel empty, matches are filled with bots, and the excitement quickly dies.

It’s currently 5 AM in my region and the game is full of bots, even though it hasn’t even been out for a week. This alone is a huge red flag for the future of the game. Please reduce the number of modes and consider removing or limiting the community servers / server browser feature. Most players don’t even realize that there are players online — they just think the game is dead and leave.

I have many friends who loved the game, but they already went back to playing Call of Duty because they thought Battlefield had failed — when in reality, the problem is the player base being too spread out.

This is exactly the same mistake that happened with Battlefield 2042, and I truly hope you fix it before it’s too late.

Thank you.
