Training Tracks for Pilots and Tankers
Just an idea that may be too late to incorporate, but here we go.
I'm excited to see the Class System training tracks and the tiers that you earn within a match. I would love for this system to extend to pilots and vehicles. For example, a fighter Pilot could have a two Training Tracks, 1) Air Superiority and 2) CAS. Air Superiority would have a passive tier of sharing enemy Air units locations with other friendly air units. The second tier would provide faster short range air to air missile reload. The third tier would be a single use buff that doubles available special air to air missiles, but reverts to tier two after use. CAS would provide a passive tier of sharing ground target information with other friendly aircraft. The second tier would be extended range for using air to ground missiles. The third tier could be a special ground weapon like dropping two 2000lb JDAMS or electronic warfare system that scrambles enemy anti-air missile targeting for a limited time and reverts to tier 2.
This is just an example, preferably you would want your pilots between aircraft to have complimentary traits. Maybe the Air Superiority track has the Electronic Warfare capability that benefits the CAS track that has the two JDAMs. It would possible promote team play.
For vehicles my example is for armor. IFVs can have two training tracks of "Recon" and "Support". Recon would passively have longer range for spotting ground vehicles in line of site, Tier two would be a buff to speed and shooting on the move. Tier three would provide for a pop up drone to give enemy locations over obstacles and beyond line of sight, but not enemies indoors or with overhead concealment. "Support" would provide a passive rearment and medical buff to units when not fighting. Tier two would be increased armor protection at the cost of speed. Tier 3 would be a mortar or artillery strike.
Let me know what you all think. Does a system like this make sense? If so, how would you go about it?
