Vehicles need exit animations like in BF1.

Seeing people blip into existence as they exit/spawn on vehicles is kind of ridiculous. Players should be punished for waiting the last second to hop out of a tank or passengers blipping into existence to shoot a rocket.

Yep, would definitely slow the pace of the game a bit and add some realism to the game.

I don't really care about the realism aspect. I view it more as a balance aspect. I'd PREFER if you couldn't spawn on tanks at all, but I think having an exit animation on them would balance that out, plus make overly aggressive tankers think twice about getting a tank destroyed with no help because they can't just hop out instantaneously and survive.

Even I take advantage of it when I'm a gunner for a tank, especially the IFV getting stuck engaging a MBT. I'll pop out and launch a rocket at the MBT and pop back in to get protected by the tank.

I don't expect them to do it and its not game breaking or the end of the world, but I feel like it would be a nice to have change for vehicle balance.

Yep, it'd do all those things, some realism, slow the pace of the game and give much better balance between infantry and  vehicles.

  • I don't mind it either way, even just a delay for getting out of the vehicle with no animation, maybe just a "loading" circle that counts down the second it takes would be fine.

I think jumping out of helicopters (except transport) should take a second or two for sure, nothing more disheartening than hitting a helicopter so its destined to crash, only for both players to pull off a Liquid Snake and jump between both the roter blades to safely parachute away.

  • I'm in two minds. On one hand, I can see how adding an animation could be good for balance, such as in the examples given. On the other hand, though, I didn't particularly enjoy the enter/exit animations in some of the past games (and utterly despised them in BFV as they took far too long).

I guess that, if it were to be added in the future, I'd just get on with it and assume it's for the betterment of the game as a whole.

I wouldn't want them to be crazy long, I just feel like there needs to be some kind of delay getting in and out of vehicles.
