Visibility in this game is terrible
Even with most rendered options toned down as much as it gets the game still renders to look muddy, with many shaders having checkboard and moire-like artefacts.
The costant fog and dust reduces contrast on everything.
Every level is designed with garbage, trash, and clutter strewn everywhere. All of which seems to be filled with black power and will explode leaving a diesel fire behind.
Shooting a stone surface might as well be mini smoke grenades. Shooting through a bush is like blowing up a forest.
But one of the most egregious things is that something that is completely obscuring my view may not at all be rendered on an enemy screen. I'm talking about all the boxes, suitacases, chairs, tables, etc. that may be in one place on my client, but may not at all on an enemy's.
All of it is just another advantage to the playstyle of just lying prone in a bunch of trash because you'll be next to invisible.
All the effects in this game look like they were optimized for gameplay trailers with next to no thoughts for actual playability.
