Not sure what you even mean by "waiting for game", but it takes about 2 minutes to fill the lobby in worst cases. Usually, it takes about 30 seconds.
I have noticed some increased matchmaking times.

Honestly, no clue at all what you're talking about! I'm playing on PS5 with Crossplay OFF and it only takes seconds to get connected to a game! So, what the heck are you doing wrong?!
Is this with a specific game mode? I was playing Breakthrough yesterday on my day off, and didn't have any trouble getting matches to start. The matches were bot heavy, but that's to be expected with less people playing since they're at work (I also have crossplay off of my Xbox).
I play early in the morning, or right after 2am because that's when I get off work. I'm not doing anything wrong I think.
I don't think anyone is saying you're doing something wrong. Most people, myself included, just seem to want some further information as they're curious why the matches you're in aren't backfilling. Knowing what mode you're experiencing this with would be very helpful, since not all of the backfill with bots requires more human players before they'll start.
For example, I play at very strange hours quite often myself (crossplay off as well, so it's an even more limited pool of players), but as I predominantly play Breakthrough, matches will begin with bots after about 2 minutes. However, if I want to play something like Strikepoint, then I'll need to either turn on crossplay or wait and try again during peak hours.
Are you playing with crossplay on or off? What region?
That said, you're going to have less players at 2AM, unfortunately. I never run into issues loading into a game, but I'm in bed by 11PM [EST] basically every evening.

So I’m here at 5:47p CST and can’t get into any game without waiting an insane amount of time. Normally play Attrition - waiting in the lobby between games sometimes 5 mins or so before there are enough players to start. Just tried redsec duos, waited 10 mins before I bailed. Tried quads and it put me in a game that already started with no redeployment. So I’ve got a pistol against a squad with guns any my squad is all over the map. As I write this, been waiting for duos match to start for 5 minutes and the counter is stuck at 10/100… now 8/10.. I do have cross play turned off but this is just stupid at this point. I abandoned CoD but may just have to go back because at least you can get into a game.. :/
