Honestly, most of this complaint isn't validated. I say that as somebody who despises EA and has hated everything they've released since BF1.
Why? Because most of it will be patched out in time. That's how it always goes with Battlefield. There is one significant underlying issue that won't be patched out though - the maps. They're pretty bad. The flow is awful. That's how you get the COD feel and why it doesn't feel like battlefield. All they learned from 2042 was "add more cover, give the map terrain".
Now you have awful points like B on Cairo, or B/D on Mirak, where an enemy can appear from absolutely anywhere, at any time, and surprise - the TTK is so fast that you're already dead, and you had no counter play. So many flags with 4 avenues of attack and minor cover on the flag, while lots of protection and support for the attacking group - so that simply being on a flag is a death trap.
Why is this my conclusion? Because if you had maps with established team lines, holding flanks and trying to break through and push forward, you'd have battlefield. That's how battlefield and COD are dynamically opposed. Give us a map where we can fight for positions as a team, and we'll have Battlefield. Give us way too many stupid angles to be shot at once from with no warning, and you have the run and gun COD.
