WE DONT NEED BOTS

Yet in most regions if you didnt have bots late at night the match wouldnt even commence. 

This is a bigger problem than bots / no bots. 

The whole Portal Farce is proof of that. 

I rather want to have matches whit bots other wise your just getting killed whit out any progression, new people is gonna leave like me am very new to this FPS and am very close to ask for my money back, you spawn die and hear people complain and call you noob and skill issue. I mean grow up please I want to play this game for fun not being a killing dummy

I'd love to see some bots.  I haven't seen a bot in a normal match ever, no matter what time I jump on.  The server just sits there waiting for real people, never backfills.

Thats why we need fixed servers, fixed server playlists and a server browser! Like it has always been in Battlefield! (I am ignoring 2042 here)

I had this last week, every match for 2 days was half full of bots, I don't want to play against bots.

Here’s the issue, and it has a simple fix:

EA needs to follow through on what they originally said and set cross-play off by default. The core Battlefield community is older — many players don’t change default settings and some struggle to find basic options in the menus, let alone dig through them to disable cross-play. With so many modes already splitting the player base, forcing cross-play by default only spreads players out even more.

Simple Solutions:

Server Browser: Bring back a proper server browser so players can find a rotation they enjoy, favorite servers, and consistently play with others (and friends) in a familiar environment.

Team Switching: Allow players to switch teams so they can actually play with their friends, not against them.

Default Cross-Play Setting: In the next update, set cross-play to OFF by default. Let players turn it on if they want it — not the other way around. Most console players don’t want to play against PC players, and many don’t even realize cross-play is enabled right now. If they knew, they would probably turn it off.

Battlefield 2042 struggled with this exact issue — if you disabled cross-play, you couldn’t find games because it wasn’t off by default, and the player base fractured. Let’s not repeat that mistake.

I could pay extra to be put in console lobbies, haha. Just kidding. Kinda. Not sure why PC players dont like console guys joining games.

The problem is not with the number of players available at that time.

The problem is matchmaking. 

One game I will play with 70% players, the next game only 5 players. Where did all of them go? Well may be they are in a lobby with another 5/6 players. Doesn't make any sense. BF4 handled this very well. Never had a problem with just xbox360 players.

Standard servers with map rotation and sever browsers will fix the problem. The lobby/match making is a step in the wrong direction trying to fix a non existent problem.

There should be still bots option ie to get know vehicles and for custom local games. You should not "test" jet first time in real battle
