Well now I know!

So after playing bf 6 on pc and Xbox, I believe the HUGE advantage console players have on aim assist. It’s insane. I played on pc yesterday and can’t tell you how many time I shot and made a hit,  then was shot dead by the other guy! Completely unfun!  I know I got the drop in countless guys a died on the spot, even if my round hit first…..oh well. I do like the graphics better on pc.

  • Mouse+keyboard and controller each have their advantages in just about every game ever made.  Controller has objecively better movement capeabilties and convientient button mapping, whereas M+K has more precise aiming and more assignable keys.   Aim assist on controller is designed to mitigate the advantage of m+k aiming but is rarely perfect depending on the game.

In BF6, I have found that controller has a significant advantage in close quarters engagments because of what I mentioned above, while m+k has an advantage a longer ranges.  I play on PC and use m+k for any gamemode where most of my engangments will be at 40+yds.  I switch to controller for anything cqb.  M+k has an enormous advantage when sniping though, to the point where they are barely even comparable.

They have the same aim assist. Same aim assist. Same recoil reduction.

What is the point you are trying to make? You claimed that consoles gave quick kills. That is net code, not aim assist.

As a keyboard and mouse xbox player, I disagree that the TTK is better. Are you implying that the netcode has some hidden function that if it is a console and is using a controller, the damage is increased or netcode favors the controller-using console player instead of the controller-using PC player or keyboard-and-mouse-using console player?

I am having a hard time userstanding what the claim is. Your claim seems obviously to be a claim about netcode or a damage boost favoring console. But you keep saying aim assist. I'm baffled.

I am referring to aim assist.  I do have an Xbox controller paired with my pc.

  • Plug a controller into a PC and it has the same aim assist. What you describe is something other than aim assist.
