that is true, but in a combat environment I don't think a soldier getting shot at would go "this row of closely planted shrubs looks like a great spot to dive and save my life. Too bad it's so solid, a big soldier like me wouldn't be able to shove my body through this."
I don't think a soldier would be as stupid as to navigate through any kind of dense foliage to begin with, unless he had no other choice. Getting killed because part of your gear or outfit accidentally catches onto a branch seems like a pretty embarrassing way to die.

Let's say he has no choice, why not let players make that mistake? As apposed to the sudden halt because "a bush was in the way."
I don't see what having a "piece of your gear getting caught" has to do with the gameplay or defense of solid bushes in Battlefield 6.
In a real life setting sure, but battlefield doesn't have that level of realism thankfully, cause it wouldn't be fun for the game.
