Why do I feel like Battlefield 6 is a step backward?

It's been a long time since I intensely played Battlefield 6, and I participated in almost every closed beta test. My enthusiasm, like the number of Battlefield 6 players, has dwindled from hundreds of thousands at launch to the current 30,000. Various bugs, cheating issues, slow daily updates, and some tedious modes have gradually worn me down.

I wouldn't call myself a true veteran of the Battlefield series. I gradually got into Battlefield starting with the much-criticized 2042, then Battlefield 1, Battlefield 5, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield 2042. Therefore, through online videos, I learned about Battlefield 3 and 4. It's not hard to see that Battlefield 6 is essentially a return to the core gameplay and storyline of the older games, just with some refinement. Modern mainline weapons and vehicles from the past are gradually being incorporated into Battlefield 6. While it seems like progress, I believe that Battlefield 6 is actually stagnating, or even regressing. First, there's the issue of graphics. Initially, it was truly stunning, but gradually, the visual presentation and the texture of light and shadow became increasingly dry and blurry, lacking the immersive feel that Battlefield should have. Instead, it resembled the childish color scheme of PUBG. Second, the special effects were riddled with blurry pixelation, whether it was fire, smoke, or particle effects. Finally, the weapons. The weapon handling in this private test was somewhat similar to Battlefield 5 weapons, for reasons I don't understand. However, the new motorcycle was indeed very interesting; whether in third-person or first-person perspective, the driving experience felt very similar to Cyberpunk 2077. There's not much else to say.

This isn't to say I'm being overly critical, but rather that this was my experience in this private test. Discussion is welcome.

I don't feel this at all. In fact, they have misled us, which is a very polite way of saying that in reality they have lied to us.

BF6 is nowhere near back to Battlefield Roots at all. If you had played all the other games in the series you would have felt this straight away.

I find it incredible that a Newer game can be worse than an Older game, but they pulled it off.

This game is not back to Battlefield Roots. It was just a phrase which let a lot of players to buy again new series. But next BF I am out.

When I firstly turn on BF 6 I was sad that it looks like Counter Strike game, all settings different, vehicles more worst, menu absolutly bad and chaotic.

Naah this game is another junk. 2042 was junk but this is the same even more worst.
