Why do you think DICE chose to bring back Golmud out of all the BF4 maps?

Caspian couldnt they port that in from 2042? I read a comment on discord saying they talked to a dev and it wouldnt be too difficult to do it.

I talked to a developer and they said the lack of maps is completely because of Portal. This developer is not affiliated with Battlefield Studio's in any way.

So, they are not affiliated and simply have an opinion. So what? I talked to a guy on the street and they said the work necessary to create and test maps has nothing to do with Portal.
