Why is Battlefield going away from what it used to be?
I know I might take some flak from this but f**k it. I’ve been a loyal BF gamer since it first came out on Xbox in the early 2000’s, and I remember it being one of the most realistic FPS games you could play based off of its accuracy on the Marines. What happened to the somewhat realistic load outs and uniforms and camouflage schemes they used to have on it? I don’t get why they started adding these flashy colors and brands to a game set to where it has absolutely nothing to do with it. Also, why do you play as a MARSOC team in the campaign, but only have the option to play as an Army soldier or some NATO ally instead of a Marine? I’m a Marine vet myself and I know a lot of vets get on to play for the some what realistic side of it over other games. I personally think, this is my opinion I know others have their own but this is mine, that the multiplayer should go back to playing strictly as marines or if not that then you should be able to choose to play as a marine. Also I’m not sexist but I think you should be able to choose whether or not you want your operator to be male or female instead of having to play as one. I’m not sexist and I know it was a way for them to include the women into it, there’s nothing wrong with that. But that’s my thought on it, I’m sure I’ve got more than that but that’s what came to mind for me. Thank y’all.
