No, a million times no. The amount of people in bfv that abused the fact that if you spammed request order, even if the squad leader placed an order, it would make them squad leader so they could take over a squad that was created through a 2 or 3 person party of friends was horrendous. The current system works to actively put forward orders so the arbitrarily designated squad leader (which for some reason isnt the party leader, like wtf lol) doesnt have to have an apm of 600 to stay leader. The amount of times i had squad leader yoinked from me because someone wanted to call in support things with the points while i was actively setting orders to support the team was abysmally high to the point where as soon as a rando requested an order i would kick them from the squad of me and 2 friends.
The current system is great for automatically applying orders on relevant points that you should be concerned about, and the squad orders dont matter nearly as much anyeays because theres no support call ins in bf6, its just points. I understand if you need to do challenges and its frustrating when someone won't apply an order, but following the automatic tactical advice does count as a squad order from what ive seen. This also isnt like, a milsim game. Being squad leader isnt like some massive responsibility. Most people are playing this to chill and play some bf, even if theyre sweating, its a pretty casual thing. Again, i get it, but forcing people to have to conform to a role you want them to be because the algorithm said they were squad leader is kinda lame imo.
