XP removal from Portal, no incentive to purchase additional microtransactions

The full removal of progression from the portal has been an awful realization today. As I got home and booted up BF6 to relax after a workday.

Only to notice my challenges not tracking, nor am I earning XP towards weapons.

I thought it was a bug at first, so I went to the internet to check... only to find out that it was completely removed on purpose?

Seriously? Somedays I want to play online MP vs the sweat lords but other days I really just want to chill after a day of work playing against bots on Verified Breakthrough.

Only to now realize I get no progression at all when I want to chill. But better yet, my experiences are literally base game verified game modes. I have made no changes other than bot backfill. I wasn't XP farming or anything.

So where does my title play into this? The other night I was literally considering buying the phantom edition upgrade because I was having fun. I was also considering buying some additional add-ons when the season launched. Support the development, earn some rewards, etc.

But today? No chance. I don't have any incentive to buy additional content for the game because my "Chill" experience is just gone now. I just turned the game off and went elsewhere.
