One of the main problems with EA and DICE is the lack of communication with their player base. Cheating aside, the overall gameplay has also taken a hit. Since the last patch, the desync has been terrible and it seriously affects how the game feels.
That said, the number of players who instantly spot you and kill you in a split second does seem to be increasing. I know the standard response is often “skill issue”, and I am fully aware that I am not a top tier player. That is fine. But when you have played shooters long enough, you can tell when something is clearly off.
These players may not end a round with 150 kills, but subtle cheats exist. Things like low key ESP or slight aim assistance that just gives them an edge in reaction time and accuracy. Those are much harder to detect, but they are just as damaging to fair gameplay.
Combine that with shots feeling like they do no damage, while you get deleted instantly in return, and the game is heading in a bad direction. If this is not addressed soon, it risks going the same way as Battlefield 2042.
I was just assuming they nerfed all my guns man. cause its only a problem at distance for me. although with this latest patch, that seems to have improved, except for very long distance lol. about 40% of players in gaming in general cheat. Its just what it is and been that way for 25 years now. the difference was back in the day we could segregate ourselves from them with good admins who kept servers fair and you could find one at your level. over a million would be online cs 1.6 in NA alone. Now....you are forced to play with people way out of your league stacking teams. Because ddos got too strong to keep the trolls out and mmr's are undermined by smurfing cause of anonymity. they call pwning noobs competitive. lmao. back in the days you shouted "TEAMS" in chat and the good players shuffled around to make it even. You had vote shuffles. Heck in bf2 you had autokicks for base graping, vehicle steals, team kills, vehicle sabotage, etc... cause we played with FF on. imagine that bud. Friendly fire was on in my day cause people were all humans. Because real humans aren't gratified by playing noobs, cause it lessens their skills and is not bragging rights in real life when you can't change face. Being competitive has nothing to do with skill level, money, or organized tournaments. Its about wanting a competitive match, because that and stats is what makes sports.
