Dear EA and Battlefield Studios team.
Unfortunately, it has become known that Battlefield 6 lacks not only Russian voiceovers but also subtitles, and the Russian interface is not supported at all.
This is highly puzzling, especially considering that the list of supported languages includes less common ones, such as Polish. According to various estimates, Russian is spoken by over 250 million people worldwide, making it one of the most popular languages on the planet.
There are objectively more players using Russian than Polish. However, despite this, Russian has been completely removed from the supported language list.
I also ask our international players and concerned individuals to support this cause. Thank you very much for that.
Russian-speaking players have supported the Battlefield franchise for many years: they purchased the original versions of the games, actively participated in online battles, created content, tested the games, and formed an active community. Abandoning Russian localization is perceived not as a logical step, but as a deliberate disregard for a significant portion of your audience.
We understand that localization requires investment, and we can accept its absence. However, the lack of even basic localization (interface and subtitles) makes the game inaccessible to a huge audience accustomed to full localization in previous installments.
We kindly ask you to reconsider your decision and, at a minimum, reinstate support for the Russian interface and subtitles.
I've already pre-ordered the game on Steam and am eagerly awaiting its release. Thank you.
