4:3 Resolution Options Not Scaling FOV Properly

I usually play on 16:9, 2560x1440 but wanted to try 4:3 out, using 1920x1440. I noticed that when you change the resolution to the 4:3 option, the game asks "would you like to keep these settings", a...

I'll try this later tonight, but from what I can tell the game gets fuzzier, meaning the resolution is dropping like it should.
