5080 huge fps drops / memory leak?

I have both a 3090 and 4090, I purchased a 5080 because the 3090 wasn't cutting it and want more FPS. When using the 5080 and keeping the same maxed / overkill settings as the 3090, I'm experiencing huge fps drops from a max memory leak causing the in game menu to exceed 16 GB. I’m not getting this issue on the other cards I have. I searched the net and found a post saying EA / Dice is aware, but I can't find anything speaking about a fix.

Theres no way I'm keeping the 5080 if it's not going to be fixed. I can’t believe this happens to a thousand dollar graphic card.

Please help*

  • Are you using the lastest Nvidia drivers. I ask because this was an issue with the 581's

  • Thank you for the reply! I checked all over the net last night for hours on this subject. I will try the reflex being disabled.

I'm using the newest driver 591.59, do you think maybe the update didn't take on my new card? I'll reinstall the new driver again. I'm going into safe mode, using ddu, etc.

At first, the match will be smooth then the second I spawn into an area with a lot of players my GPU ram spikes and causes HUGE fps drops and they never go back until I exit the game. OR when I select the in-game menu while playing a map. This never happened on my 3090 or 4090.

Was this a big call out to fix and Nvidia issued a driver that fixed it?

  • **Update - I installed the past driver that indicates bf6 stability issues (591.44) however the same issue remains. I start the match, and everything is smooth, but as soon as I die and respawn the PFS drop by more than half with the in-game setting screen saying max memory is exceeded.  Does anyone else have similar issues or fixes?
