About the Friend System in Battlefield 6

I bought the game on Steam. When playing *Battlefield 2042* with friends, we needed to be EA friends to team up. However, in *Battlefield 6*, I can't join the ongoing games of my EA friends—only the ongoing games of my Steam friends. Why is this happening? Will this issue be fixed if I provide feedback here?
