Account restricted

i bought battlefield 6 on my ps5 but now downloaded redsec on my pc, then linked my ps account. Now its showing “Your EA account is restricted from accessing online features.” Why am i restricted?

    should check if your banned, i played single player the night it dropped and was ban the next day for "gameplay enhancements" and have not heard back from them in like  18 days

    I launched the game on EA App for the first time.

    I tried to change IP channel or upstream and disabling NAT but this didn't work as well.

     

     

  • Hello. I wanted to play the bf6 redsec but once I load into the game i got this error where it says my ea account is restricted to access online features. I don't know what's wrong because I never tried to do any exploits or hacks and my other ea games work totally fine. I genuinely need a solution to this as I want to play the game. I even contacted the support but didn't get any help so I am posting here.

    Hi leo_kasper0069,

    That message appears to relate to a ban, I'm afraid. If that is the case, you'll need to try appealing to EA's Terms of Service team, as they're the only people who can potentially revoke a ban. If you wanted to try, the guide below should explain the process and a webform to begin the appeal. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code in the message you're receiving.

    Hi leo_kasper0069​ I think i have the same issue, they said they are working on a fix for it, to be sure check the EA website to see if you are banned: https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/post-contact/

    Well I checked my penalty history and it was fine. I still didn't receive a reply from ea support. I don’t know what's wrong as that's my main ea account. I played 2042, bfv,bf1 before without any issues. Now bf6 causing me issues. Here's the penalty history screenshot.

  • Hi, im getting the exact error having played BF6 on PS5 and wanted to play redsec on steam

     

  • When I opened Battlefield 6 for the first time on PC, a message appeared saying my account was restricted, even though I hadn't opened it for the first time (I have it on PS5, but this is my first time on PC, and I wanted to try RedSec). I played the beta on this same PC, so there shouldn't be any problem. I tried contacting EA's wonderful support, but it's impossible to get through to a human being; it's just a page redirecting you to another page. I've attached a screenshot, which also shows my ban history is clean, so I don't have any appeals to make.

    Edit: I can play on PS5, the problem is on PC where apparently my account is "Restricted"
