Banned account redeem

Hello All,

I have purchased a Battlefield 6 game code to redeem in EA app, however I mistakenly signed in into an old account which I had forgotten was banned a long time ago (over 4 years now). The EA app allowed me to redeem the code, rendering the game "available" in my library, however literally a couple of seconds later a message popped up reminding me that I am banned from EA services on this account, and completely disabled the application, including access to any games in my library - the new Battlefield 6 I had just redeemed included.

I do not know how or why would the application allow me to redeem a code in a banned account. Admittedly I had forgotten myself about this ban at all, but then again, this seems like a technical problem.

I had requested a ban appeal to no avail - which is fine. I had then reopened the appealing case to at least request a refund to my account - the injustice being paying for a game code, redeeming in and then immediately have the application prevent all access to all content, including said Battlefield 6, which was also denied.

I do not know what to do or how to resolve this - at this point I am merely asking for a refund over a content which was never available to me. The account ban itself is irrelevant - simply want my money back, really. EA doesn't seem very eager to return it, to say the VERY least.

I can share any relevant screenshots with any required proofs for the sake of argument, should I be demanded for it.

Anyone has any ideas?
