We won't know the nature of your ban through the EA Forums. You've done the right thing by sending in a ban appeal. The TOS team handles each appeal on a case-by-case basis, and the investigations are thorough; they can take some time to complete.

Please keep an eye out for your email, and they will send you a response as soon as they wrap things up.
