Battle Field 6 for PC has been nothing but a disappointment.
I am writing to express my severe frustration with the current state of Battlefield 6 on PC via Steam. I spent $4,000 building a high-end, enthusiast-grade PC specifically to play this game, yet the user experience treats dedicated PC players like an afterthought, delivering a broken, downgraded product that fails to match the standards set by previous titles in the franchise.
Severe Content Regression Compared to Battlefield 4
Despite the power of modern PC hardware, the gameplay sandbox feels heavily hollowed out. Battlefield 6 completely lacks the depth of vehicle variety and the scale of large, classic all-out-warfare maps that we had over a decade again Battlefield 4. It is a massive disappointment to invest heavily in a premium setup only to find a smaller sandbox with fewer tactical options and restricted map design.
Broken Flight Peripherals & Stuck Input Glitches
On top of the missing content, I have spent $300 on dedicated flight controllers ($200 and $100 setups), yet Battlefield 6 failed to natively support standard PC flight sticks without massive input lag or total failure. I am forced to use Steam Input to emulate an Xbox controller just to make the game recognize the hardware. Even worse, this temporary fix is unstable; the emulation glitched and caused the fire button to constantly trigger, making vehicles completely unplayable.
Intrusive EA Javelin Anti-Cheat Forcing Secure Boot Changes
To even get this game to run, I was forced to enter my system's BIOS/boot settings and alter my Secure Boot configurations due to your anticheat restrictions. Forcing players to manipulate hardware-level security settings just to launch a video game—and risk booting errors—is an intrusive and unacceptable technical hurdle.
As a premium consumer, I expect a Battlefield experience that respects native PC peripherals, leverages the power of high-end systems with expansive sandboxes, and does not compromise system security.
Please log these issues with the QA, map design, and vehicle balancing teams.
