Battle Royale initiation

Haven’t had access to BR initiation since the ending of season 1. For some reason is disappeared and I can’t play it. Only way I can play it is if I’m invited to a friends party that has the game mode. I’ve waited for update after update still no BR initiation. Is this going to be fixed in season 3
