Error Code 0:85011S
I’ve been getting this issue daily around 6-8pm onwards where the game will kick me out to the Xbox menu and when I go to launch it again it gives me these errors. sometimes later in the evening it will start working again. I’ve tried everything from clearing cache, alternate MAC address, lowering firewall, power cycling. You name it I’ve done it and figured it simply is nothing to do with my set up in my end. Internet is great and works with everything else at home. the first error is “unknown error” and the second is “network disconnected”, see attachments. if I don’t get support within 24 hours of this message to rectify this problem, I’ll request an immediate refund of the game and all add ons purchased since started playing it. If I can’t play a game I’ve put hours and money into then a refund is fair and reasonable from EA. (cm edit updated title for vis)RedSec Ranked — SA matchmaking regression, started ~1 month ago
This is a regression. Roughly one month ago, Ranked BR in South America worked fine with acceptable regional latency. Since then, in every Ranked BR lobby I have queued into — including during peak evening hours — I am placed onto servers in other regions, resulting in 130–170ms latency (with reported spikes above that). It is not limited to off-peak times; it happens across all my Ranked sessions regardless of time of day. The matchmaking now appears to route by something other than nearest-server priority. Because this previously worked and changed about a month ago, it points to a specific change — an update, a matchmaking config change, or an SA server pool going offline — rather than a long-standing limitation. Impact: In a competitive mode, latency at this level directly compromises gunfight trades, hit registration, and the integrity of Ranked progression. Because it happens even at peak, this is a routing/allocation problem, not a player-volume problem. Specific request: 1. Identify what changed about a month ago in SA matchmaking/server allocation and revert or fix it. 2. Prioritize allocation to the server nearest the player as the default routing rule. 3. Fill regional servers with players from that region before starting a match, rather than redirecting to another region. To be clear: in a mode where ping makes a decisive difference, a longer queue to form a proper regional match is strongly preferable to being placed into a foreign server just to start faster. Speed of matchmaking should not come at the cost of playable latency. 4. Ideally, give players region visibility/choice or a configurable ping cap for matchmaking. Note: update development cost is global and already amortized; this request is strictly about matchmaking routing and maintaining a regional server pool, not about new content.Revert the update
Worst experience tonight after the update. We run a 4-stack in Ranked — 2 on console, 2 on PC and every single fight was rubber banding with clear netcode issues. The big one: console players are getting instant-killed now. Pre-update the console/PC balance felt alright most of the time; post-update it’s not even close. On top of that, hit reg feels broken — I sank whole mags into people with no result only to then be chased reloading and couple of taps were dead. Matchmaking is also a mess. We’ve all got jobs and limited play time, and with these changes we’re will be hard-stuck Platinum with no real path to progress. How do we end up constantly in masters top 250? Is it the fact everyone is law has given up? Please look at the netcode, the TTK balance across platforms, and matchmaking.11Views0likes0CommentsHelp needed pls
Settings for Multiplayer vs. Campaign must be separate, so that multiplayer can run on low settings without affecting the frame generation and ultra settings of the campaign.Create separate settings for the multiplayer and campaign modes.I want to enable frame generation, future frame rendering, and ultra settings for the campaign, but switch to low-performance settings for multiplayer. Since both modes run in separate windows, this should not be a problem.Optimize frame generation combined with DLSS Quality to provide stable frame rates and good visual quality, without exceeding my 16GB VRAM limit.Improve game stability for the RTX 5060 Ti. Currently, the visual quality drops significantly during the campaign. Thanks a lot & Regards,Since you are experimenting with Battlefield Labs 6, I wanted to provide my feedback.Hellogamer761AMD RX 6600 BF6
i’m constantly crashing. these are soft crashes as well, no error code, just throws me to windows screen. i thought maybe its just redsec since its more demanding than regular multiplayer, nope. breakthrough crashed 2 matches in, turned off XMP still crashing, turned off FSR still crashing, limited frame rate still crashing, installed clean driver still crashing, rolled back my drivers to 26.5.2 like they recommend STILL crashing, all my setting are on LOW, still crashing, this has been going on for the past MONTH and has progressively gotten worse, i’ve literally had to delete every file i’ve installed in the past 3 weeks just to be sure it isn’t those causing the crashes, and would you guess i’m still crashing. it’s not my temps or my hardware, this most recent update absolutely destroyed certain AMD systems EA please for the love of God fix this issue it’s driving me absolutely insane. from the stuttering to the lag to the random bs crashes, i don’t know why i would keep playing this game when MW4 is around the corner. come on. do better.10Views0likes0CommentsTimed Out Error 0:85008S
Hello, I need help with a persistent network issue that has been completely ruining my and many other players' experience lately (especially in Gauntlet and Quads modes). The game regularly kicks me out in the middle of a match or right after completing a mission (when the game progress is synced). Then I get a specific string of errors twice in a row: ERROR CODE 0:85008S: 17862870170:-2146566144Q Followed by the message: " TIMED OUT: Your session has timed out due to inactivity and you have been disconnected." This inactivity message is meaningless because the game kicks me out in full motion while shooting. Furthermore, the problem behaves the same whether I launch the game via Steam or directly via the pure EA App. What I've already done on my PC (local error excluded): Drivers and optimizations: I have an RTX 3060 12GB card, 32GB RAM. I did a clean install of the latest WHQL drivers. Overlays disabled: I completely disabled the in-game overlay in the NVIDIA App to avoid conflicts with the anti-cheat. Windows Firewall: I manually enabled all game items in Windows Defender Firewall (for both Private and Public networks). Network: I flushed DNS (ipconfig /flushdns and netsh winsock reset) and changed DNS to stable Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) In-game observations: I noticed that disconnections occur most often in the lobby, where there are players with extremely high latency (ping 150+ ms), who are suspected of using network exploits. It seems that under this network load, EA Anti-Cheat (Javelin) is unable to verify my account within the timeout (handshake timeout) and is preemptively disconnecting me, or the server is overloaded and stops receiving UDP packets from my PC, which causes a "Timed out" error. Can you please confirm if you are aware of this server infrastructure issue and when can we expect a fix on the server side?60Views0likes17Comments
