REDSEC needs to be paid-only. Cheating will not stop otherwise.
Every match has obvious wallhacks and aimbots. Not once in a while, every match. Pre firing through walls, locking on through smoke, tracking through solid cover. This is not lag, I went back and watched the killcams. The tell is the account mix. Level 800 veterans and fresh level 5 accounts running the exact same cheats. There is no pattern, which means Javelin bans are basically not landing, or they land and the cheater is back in 5 minutes on a free account. That free account is the real problem. Proposal: lock REDSEC behind the full BF6 purchase like the rest of the game. Right now a banned cheater loses nothing. Make them lose 79 dollars every time and the whole economy of cheating in BF6 changes overnight. Cheat sellers lose customers, the arms race becomes financial, not just technical. CS2 and Siege both use this model for a reason. Javelin alone is not going to fix this, there is a YouTube and TikTok economy openly selling BF6 cheats with tutorials on bypassing your anti-cheat. A paid wall at entry is the cheapest, fastest fix you have. A lot of us came to BF6 specifically because we left COD over this exact issue. Do not make us regret it. Steam charts already show where this is heading if nothing changes.
BF6 Red Sec – Hit Registration, Desync and Audio Issues / PS5
Hello, I would like to report a recurring issue I am experiencing in Battlefield 6 (Red Sec mode) and ask whether you are aware of it and if there is any planned fix. In many matches, I notice very inconsistent damage registration. Using the same weapon, sometimes I eliminate opponents within a few shots, while in other situations I can empty almost an entire magazine into an enemy and they survive with minimal health. It feels as if some of the hits are not properly registered. Additionally, I frequently experience situations where: enemies seem to see me earlier than I can see them, I receive damage or get eliminated after already moving behind cover or going prone, overall gunfights feel inconsistent from match to match. There is also a noticeable issue with audio perception. Opponents seem to react to my position much faster than I am able to hear their footsteps or movements, which puts me at a disadvantage. I would like to emphasize that my setup should not be the cause: wired fiber connection (approx. 5 ms latency), download ~1500 Mbps / upload ~600 Mbps, PS5 connected via Ethernet, stable network environment (port forwarding / DMZ tested), 120 Hz monitor, controller connected via cable. hedphones sony inzone h9 Based on both my experience and recent community discussions, this appears to be related to desync, hit registration issues, or server-side inconsistencies rather than local connection problems. Could you please confirm: Are you aware of these issues (hit registration, desync, delayed damage, audio inconsistency)? Are they related to server tick rate or matchmaking/server quality? Is there a planned fix or update addressing these problems? Is there anything on the player side that could realistically improve the situation? Additionally, I would like to ask: Could this behavior be in any way related to anti-cheat mechanisms (e.g., temporary verification or testing of player input/devices)? I am using only standard, legitimate hardware, but the sudden drop in performance after good matches feels unusual and difficult to explain otherwise. It's been 3hours i am trying to play but i am unable to do so. I updated the game today.. it was some 10gb or something and then when i opened the game the 1st match was completely fine.... After that it started crashing automatically. I tried many times but none works.. i checked my wifi as well, working just fine. But the game keep crashing... I am in middle of a gun fight i am shooting the enemy and it crashes, I am capturing the zone it crashes.... I mean wtf....! I got some time to relax myself and then this happens.. Hello everyone, I have been playing Battlefield 6 since it launched, and I usually play Duo with my friend. We both play regularly. Previously, we used to find Duo matches easily every afternoon, usually on the Dubai or Middle East servers. However, suddenly we stopped getting matches in the afternoon. Even the lobbies were not full — sometimes only 20/100 or 15/100 players. Because of that, we started playing at night, and at that time we were able to find matches. But since the war started in the Middle East region, we have not been able to find any Duo matches at all. I am not the only one facing this issue — many other players are experiencing the same problem. As you can see in the screenshot, the lobby has very few players, even though it is peak gaming time. Squad matches sometimes work, but Duo does not. Playing with random players at night is not the same experience. So my question is: are the Dubai or Middle East servers inactive or dead? I have watched several streamers who play on EU servers, and they seem to find matches very quickly. If anyone else is facing the same issue, please upvote this post so the developers can notice it. I have BF6 via Steam. My ctrl button is my sprint key. When I am in game, the moment I click ctrl my mouse buttons stop working and when I try to set mouse key binds in settings. They will cease to work until I restart my game and load everything up again. I have tried everything possible. I have downloaded EA to download BF6 and try to run it through EA and I had the exact same issue. I have tried different mice and reset stuff with my keyboard (Razer) and even removed Synapse completely. I have removed all possible overlays and redone stuff with my PC settings. I have deleted and disabled all devices that may interfere with my keyboard or mouse and so much more. Today I tried to completely disable ctrl and redo all key binds to accommodate not having ctrl as a sprint key. I started the game fine, I was able to aim while clicking ctrl (even though it is completely disabled, wanted to test it). Everything went fine until I tried using my parachute and could not cut it. I tried 3x after this and still couldn't cut it. Shortly after not being able to do that, my mouse buttons stopped working again. I genuinely cannot win. I did not see anything about tomorrow's update having bug fixes. It would be nice to actually have an update do something an update is supposed to do, like fix bugs and solve players issues that interfere with playing the game or completely prevent people from playing. I have been having this issue for at least 2 weeks. I am going nuts with all the troubleshooting I have done. After everything I have tried I almost have every reason to place the blame on Battlefield 6 being messed up. If the new update does fix things, that is awesome. I just hope it would fix the issue that I and many other folks have been having.
