Battlefield 6 - Crash to desktop with no error message

Hello all!

Been having this issue over the past few days now after starting to play Battlefield 6 again after some time away. Seems totally random, it has only happened during games but I don't exactly spend much time in the menu so couldn't really say if it is exclusive to in-game play.

I've attached Dxdiag as I realise this is usually something that is asked for, but I genuinely have no other information to give other than it freezes for maybe 1 second and then completely closes to desktop, no error messages/pop ups or anything.

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your crashing troubles. I'll see if I can help. Here are some suggestions after analyzing your DxDiag.

    1. Try doing a clean GPU driver reinstall. Use DDU in Safe Mode to remove the current driver. Then, install a stable WHQL driver. If you already have the most recent one, go back one version older.
    2. Disable all overlays. Nvidia, Steam/EA App, Discord, SteelSeries Sonar, iCUE, Armoury Crate/Aura and any Razer background services.
    3. Try turning HRD off and only use one monitor with a lower refresh rate. This is just as a test. If the crash stops, re-enable these one at a time until the crash happens again.
    4. Make sure your CPU, GPU and RAM are running on stock settings. No overclocking, undervolting and turn XMP off. This too is just as a test.
    5. Verify the Battlefield 6 files in Steam/EA App. Also, clear the shader caches, including Nvidia and launch the game again.

Let me know what happens. Thanks!
