Battlefield 6 Account Restricted - Platform Entitlement Bug?

PS5 Main account 

EA play app on PC is restricted. 

• Which platform(s) do you own the base game on: Xbox Series X
• Which platform did you register REDSEC on: Xbox Series X
• Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message: PC
• Whether the other platform still works normally
• Roughly when you first saw the issue: November 25, 2025

I wanted to try RedSec and the free play on PC to see the difference between platforms.

• Which platform(s) do you own the base game on Xbox series S
• Which platform did you register REDSEC on Xbox series S
• Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message The EA App
• Whether the other platform still works normally Xbox is fine I just cannot join anything on EA app Battlefield 2042 works fine
• Roughly when you first saw the issue I bought Phantom Edition and not been able to access from day I Purchased

   

nope I haven't had a thing back from anyone but it looks like the community manager is on it. Thanks for your help EA_Aljo as I'm pretty sure you can understand why everyone is getting so frustrated. 

I game test for loads of companies and not once would I dream of breaking an NDA I value my position.

I agree your not alone. I checked my Xbox game pass and I can see all my other games but BF6 doesn't even appear. I downloaded from steam and still can't play.

I'm having the same issue. I bought the Phantom Edition on Xbox Series X. Everything on the console is good. I can play all of Battlefield 6 Plus Redsec and BR modes, all good. I tried to download RedSec on my gaming laptop to play on the go and log in to my account, but it says my account is restricted. After weeks and weeks, I got connected to a live agent with EA Help, and he said this is a known problem, and he has no information at this time. I just have to wait it out until they resolve this issue. As long as I can still play on my console, I'm happy.  But sucks I can't play BF6 Redsec on the go... We'll have to wait and see what happens...

I wanted to play REDSEC on my PC.

that's good for you in the case of being able to play on console but I plan to sell my consoles and go straight PC. I'm really frustrated with this problem.

• Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message: EA APP when trying to play redsec on PC 
• Whether the other platform still works normally: YES
• Roughly when you first saw the issue: As soon as I downloaded the PC version and tried to play for the first time. 

-Own the game on Xbox

-Registered on Xbox i believe and linked account through EA

-Shows accoutn restrcited on Xbox

-Still works perfectly fine

-When i installed today on PC Battlefield 6
