Battlefield 6 AWFUL latency and lag in every Quickplay match!

Getting awful rubber banding, LAG, bullets not hitting enemies, random slow down like i`m moving in slow motion, bullets randomly slowing down when firing an automatic weapon, feeling like i`m sliding all the time on ice during quick play games!  The game is UNPLAYABLE!!!

This issue ONLY occurs when using Quickplay!  If i join a community server via the server browser and set my region to Europe I get NO lag at all!

Please FIX this a.s.a.p.  I paid alot of money for this game, I bought the Phantom edition and it is unplayable at the moment, it is an absolute joke!  I am struggling to progress through my season pass because of this terrible issue!

I live in England, UK.  My brother also lives in England, UK and experiences the same issues.  We both have 200mb fibre broadband and really powerful gaming PC's!

The other post has been marked as resolved.  I am posting a new one because the issue is NOT resolved.  Thank you.

  • Same here, this issue is not resolved and was created (for me at least) during the last update (1.1.5 I believe).
Every match I join has insane rubber banding and lag making this game virtually unplayable for almost a week now. Everything was smooth and fine up until the latest update.
Not caused by my system nor my network. Been playing BF since BF2 and this is the first time ever that I’ve come across something like this where it makes the game unplayable. I move my character forward, it goes forward and back….i have to press reload 5 times for it to actually register to reload. Pathetic and ridiculous- how can an update mess up server/latency performance like this? Makes zero sense.

Has Dice/EA acknowledged this? There was nothing about this in the upcoming patch notes and it can’t only be affecting a small percentage of people. I am from the west coast.

  • I made a post about a similar problem I've been having since I started playing (which was after the update); since it went pretty much unnoticed, at this point I'm just going to comment under every similar post.  My GPU usage is over 100%, and even the firing range is seeing FPS drops, which when combined with the constant latency makes the game basically unplayable.  They rEAlly need to take notice of this; obviously it's not just a few people experiencing this issue.
