Battlefield 6 Crashes when I alt tab

Found it! I tried a lot of your suggestions, to no avail. What did work for me was uninstalling MSI Afterburner... shouldn't come as a huge surprise, since MSI's software doesn't even work on its own PCs, let alone a custom build.

I tested multiple times with Afterburner on and with it disabled and it always threw an error with it on. It never errored out with it disabled. What put me over the edge was my game was stuck in 4k because it would crash if I tried to switch it. I have a 2k monitor.

I also did disable the Nvidia and Steam overlays, as every app seems to have their competing overlay. This guy gave me the idea. https://youtu.be/a4COssbw4j4

I am having the same issue. I have a gtx 4060, a Ryzen 9 and 32 gb of ram. It black screens when I alt tab or hit the windows key.

When I alt+tab it says that the NVidia driver crashed and locks the pc entirely. I need to wait couple minutes that the game shuts down eventually and then I can continue using my pc again. I just don't alt+tab anymore. Easy workaround

Yes, never alt+tab away from the game. Shut it down before going back to windows.

Updating my BIOS to the latest version seems to have fixed my PC from freezing. 

seems to work if you change game display mode to borderless :)  :)

having the same problem here with 5800x3d , 9070xt , 32gb ddr4..all drivers etc up to date!

Same issue. I was idling with the game in the background while editing clips on medal tv, and my PC froze. I had to hard restart it. Event viewer doesn't show anything that caused the freeze. 

Same, anybody found a fix yet?
