Battlefield 6 Download problem

Hi,
This has probably been one of the worst experiences I’ve had… My little brother accidentally purchased Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition on my EA account for PC. Since neither of us owns an Xbox or PlayStation account, he usually plays through my account.

He made the purchase on August 11, and within 12 hours I submitted a refund request. After requesting the refund, I also created a ticket and contacted an EA advisor. They told me the refund process would take about 14 days. I waited, but after 14 days my refund request was declined. The advisor then said they couldn’t issue a refund but would instead restore the game to my library (since it had been removed after the refund request). So at that point, I owned the game again and it appeared in my library.

Fast forward to today  I still can’t download the game. Every time I try, I get an error saying “You don’t have access to this game” or “You don’t own this game.” When I contacted EA support again, they asked me for my bank statement as proof that I didn’t receive a refund  basically implying that I might be trying to scam them  even though it was their team who told me earlier that the refund wasn’t possible.

At one point, another advisor told me the game was purchased for Xbox, not PC, which is why I couldn’t download it. I explained multiple times that I don’t even have an Xbox account linked, nor do I own one.

Honestly, I feel like EA has taken my money and left me without access to the game. Every time I reach out, a new advisor tells me to create another ticket and reference the previous one and the issue just keeps looping.

I really don’t understand how it’s possible that the game still shows up in my library as “Owned,” yet I can’t download or play it.

Plus - I'm from pakistan and this game cost me around 21k PKR with tax which is not cheap its really expensive.
