Battlefield 6 map opens sideways (horizontal)

Whenever I open the full map in Battlefield 6, it sometimes appears completely horizontal (side-view) instead of top-down. It doesn’t pan normally — instead of zooming in/out, the map moves up and down, almost like the entire view is rotated 90 degrees the wrong way.

If I start the game without my Razer Huntsman Mini White keyboard connected, the map looks fine. Plugging it in or toggling Fn + U (Gaming Mode) occasionally fixes it, but not always.

I checked Device Manager and joy.cpl — no extra HID or gamepad devices. Verified game files, reinstalled, and reset configs, but the bug still comes back randomly.

Seems like a weird input/HID detection bug — maybe the game thinks part of the keyboard is a controller axis?

Anyone else seeing this? If so, what keyboard or setup are you using, and did you find a consistent fix?

Just randomly got this issue while messing with custom portal servers. Tried to bring up my map to check HQ for vehicle spawn and it was nearly ground level, scrolling moves the camera up and down but there is no zoom or pan functionality. Also looking for a solution.

This happened to me as well, the only way I was able to fix it is by going to your Documents folder (assuming you're playing on PC), and delete the "Battlefield 6" folder (BE AWARE THAT ALL YOUR SETTINGS WILL BE GONE).
